Gengar! You're back!!!

SO AN AMAZING THING HAPPENED TODAY...

Let me start with a short prologue:

Many years ago, I had fussed and moaned until my parents bought me the wonderful Gengar* teddy bear that I had seen in a shop. It was pretty damn rare to find a Pokémon teddy bear, let alone my favourite one so I needed him!
So I bought him, cherished him and kept him around all the time until Matric (Grade 12/Final year of high school), when we had to move. Everything was put into boxes/bin-bags. After moving into our new complex, I unpacked everything important but was told that my mother gave away our teddy bears.

I. WAS. DEVASTATED.

I missed him and my other favourite teddy, Rainbow, for 5 long years AND THEN SUDDENLY...
Today, I was told that some of our teddy bears were in a bin bag.
A sudden glimmer of hope shone brightly from everywhere. I could find him along with Rainbow.
After my helpful sister rummaged through the bin bag but couldn't find Rainbow, I was quite disappointed...
THEN... a flash of purple...
My wonderful Gengar* managed to make it through to come back to me!!
His supposedly-evil grin as  friendly as ever.
His fake-evil eyes full of love.
I was ecstatic. :D

Look at him :)
So glad to be back with me.

Also: let it be known that Verushka scoured the globe in order to find me a replacement Gengar*.
I appreciate such a beautiful gesture. Perhaps she can help me collect more Pokémon tho :)

Yes. So Gengar and I are reunited once again.
I hope others are reunited with their favourite childhood friends as well. May you have the luck that I had.

Seven. The most magical post.

Trying to find my awesome post about my friends and stuff? Well, unfortunately it is no longer here.

Why not?

Someone thought the picture that I had of her here wasn't the best picture and she asked me to please replace it because it apparently showed up as the first image result if someone Googled her.
Somehow, Blogger took my CTRL+V on her highlighted picture to mean "Delete this post forever" because I tried to undo, refresh the page and anything else I could think of...
...but alas... my post has disappeared.

Here, Dinisha. :)
Hope you're happy.

Look upon this terrible face. The face of the person that destroyed my work on this post.

Am I posting too often? Well, shuddup, I'm bored.

Yes, I'm aware that I'm posting pretty often.
Is it too much?
Too bad. :)
Meh. I'm sure I'll post less often as time goes by.
I'm in the initial excitement phase, I guess.

I really should be learning full-on for ECON201.
I'm writing tomorrow but I just CANNOT concentrate.
The flu isn't helping either.

Okay. Let me try to concentrate and study now.

So anyway, I find it fun to write crap here.
I never really saw the point of wasting my time on a blog before.
Heh. Pretty cool, actually.

Campus is boring now.
After being here so long, there's nothing fun to do anymore.
Well, this was just a random post.
Let me actually get back to studying.

SO, I figure in the future, I'll try and mention some of my favourite people in my posts, and maybe spark some discussion in others. I'll try and mention some stuff I think is interesting. Share some opinions on stuff.
We'll see.
I have plenty of time to figure out where this blog is going.
The night is still young. In fact, it's SO young that it's still morning.
... ... ...
Yeah, don't feel bad, I didn't laugh at that either.

Anyway, I shall soon post something that actually has some meaning/definition/reason to be read.
Promise.

A late intro

Hi.

So I realise that my first four posts haven't really introduced me to the world.
By now, everyone probably thinks I'm some sappy guy. (... I might be a little.)
But there's more to me than meets the blog-reader's eye (well, "blog-reader", in terms of THIS blog, so far).
Also, I'm gonna try to use some images and stuff from now on. Blogs get sorta boring if they're just text, right?
If the layout breaks on your browser, then that's your problem.
No, I did not write that economics test yet (see my first post if you're confused about that), so yes, I'm still procrastinating. It's on Thursday, if anyone wants to know.
Sigh. I put the "pro" in procrastination.

Anywho, so I'm Yuveshan Pillay. Known to many as "Yuvi".
By other individuals, I'm called other nicknames such as "Wontes", "Spewvy", "Greeny" and "Bug" amongst many more... [cough]...
I live in South Africa. I'm 21. I'm still finishing my BCom ISTN degree (Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Information Systems and Technology) at the University of KwaZulu Natal.

I'm a fan of:
- sleeping
- eating
- comedy (internet memes being a relatively recent addition to this.)
- games (on computer, console... even board games.)
- a large variety of music and movies
- animals (I'm a dog person, yo.)
- cool technology and/or toys (LOLno. I will NOT grow up. Screw you.)
- most cartoons
- and other stuff that will probably become apparent as my blog grows

So, I guess I should say a bit about my sleeping:
I sleep for half my life. I sometimes literally sleep for more than 12 hours in a day.
Yeah, I have awesome holidays and stuff, huh?
However, despite my love for sleep, I usually stay up too late and get very little sleep. Coz I'm awesome like that.

I can't leave out a short controversial discussion about food:
So, I'd like to think that I follow two religions:
I'm a Hindu.
Tamil, to be exact.
That's my one religion. My other one is pork/bacon :x
Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Let me be.

Okay, so I AM pretty immature most of the time. My sense of humour is cool like that. I also find some disturbing stuff funny. That's probably why I love comedians such as Jimmy Carr. Interestingly enough, this stuff is referred to as adult humour. Heh.
Don't get me wrong tho, I have a vast sense of humour. I laugh at plenty of things.
Like those Savanna adverts on TV. (South Africa FTW!)
AND YOUR FACE.
Yes. YOU. The one reading this now.

I love cartoons. What better way to distract your mind from the tiring day you just had, than watching a bit of SpongeBob SquarePants?

Also, as you may have gathered if you already read post #2 on my blog, I'm quite a fan of Pokemon. I might not have followed it as thoroughly since the games moved from Gameboy Advance to Nintendo DS, but I am still fond of the concept and probably always will be.

Favourite Pokemon?
Probably Gengar. (#94)
<=
I'm still not sure why, though.
I had a Gengar teddy. My mother gave it away... [Sob] ...

There are a few other games, programmes and movies in that category but again, I'll mention them as I blog more.

In terms of music and movies, I'm still getting along there. I like a lot of stuff but I'm behind in a lot of stuff too. It's rather sad.
(The girl I mentioned in the previous 3 posts? She's helping me out in this category.)

Otherwise, I'd like to think I'm a nice guy. I try to help my friends out with problems. I apparently say some sweet things now and then. Yeah, I'm not all good, I screw up and stuff, but it's very rare that it's intentional.
That's when I'm the "stoopid" guy. :)

Time to go now, I think. More next time?
Cool. CoolCoolCool.
